In Texas, an agent has to give you one notice before showing you a home. It is called the IABS.
What is the IABS?
A notice the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) requires license holders to give to prospective buyers, tenants, sellers and landlords.
Why it exists
It explains, in plain terms, what an agent does and how you are protected. It is not a contract and it costs you nothing.
